Please take notice of the following information.
Please be aware that due to the high level of service that we provide, and the low numbers on the boat, cancellations and reservation changes FOR ANY REASON may harm our business. Therefore: Cancellations or reservation changes less than 48 hours will be charged in full. Failure to be on time for departures are also your responsibility. It’s simple; when you are on a cruise ship, you need to make sure you are on our time.
Cruise ships in season might or might not be on Daylight savings time. We are not. The time in Sint Maarten never changes. This is true for all Caribbean Islands.
Private Charters (which reserve the entire boat) are especially hard to fill due to last minute cancellations or reservation changes, therefore, private charters arrangements are non-refundable if cancelled within a month before the excursion date.
At time of booking, 25% of the paid amount will be non-refundable.
Travel Insurance recommended
Some travel insurances may protect you in the unlikely case your cruise ship is late in port, changes itinerary, if you get sick or if there is another reason that disables you to make the agreed upon excursion time. It is always recommended to have such a travel insurance. We realize that it is not always your fault if you miss your excursion, but neither is it ours. This is what insurances come in handy. Please make sure you have travel insurance that covers you in these cases.
Weather related cancellations
If your excursion is cancelled due to unexpected weather or if it becomes impossible for us to run the tour after a major weather event, of course we will do all we can to accommodate you on a later date or to return your money. In some cases, this might be impossible; for instance if there is total destruction of the property or the island like after Category 5 Hurricane Irma (September 6, 2017) and Category 5 Hurricane Maria (September 20, 2017). Again, travel insurance will be your friend.
